Small Group Voice Class

A Music Program for Every Age and Stage

Rachel Olson Studio offers a one-of-a-kind, expertly designed vocal program that progressively builds singers from ages 7 through 18, preparing them for professional opportunities while making every class engaging, fun, and full of useful instruction and practice. This program is based on Rachel's years of experience teaching students of all ages, and provides an efficient, cost-effective, and results-delivering vocal training.

Current Class Schedule (Winter Semester)

The current semester runs 12 weeks (Jan 13 - April 21st, 2025)

Fall & Winter semesters  — 12 weeks (Sept - Dec) (Jan - April)
Spring & Summer semesters — 6 weeks (April - June) (July - Aug)

Available classes are as follows:
• Little Voice 7-9 yrs — Mon 5:30pm, Wed 5:00pm, Thurs 9:50am 
• Young Voice 10-13 yrs — Tues. 9:30am, Tues. 5:30pm, 
• Combo Voice 11-14 yrs — Thurs 5:15pm, 
• Combo Voice (boys only) 11-14 yrs — Tues. 4:00pm
• Teen Voice 14-18 yrs — Mon 3:15pm

All classes are 45 minutes in length except for Little Voice, which is 30 minutes.

🎭 🎶✨ Each Semester concludes with an Informal Showcase, where students get to perform and celebrate their progress for parents.

An introductory singing class for young beginners, building confidence and vocal fundamentals in a fun, engaging environment. Students follow a carefully selected curriculum book chosen by Rachel for Year 1 and a separate book for Year 2, ensuring steady progress in technique, musicianship, and performance skills. They also begin learning the basics of reading music, laying the foundation for future growth. Students love having their own music book, making learning more personal and engaging.

Expands on foundational skills, introducing proper vocal technique, breath control, and performance basics. Placement depends on learning pace, ability, and previous experience. Students play a key role in choosing the music for each session, allowing them to explore their interests while developing strong vocal technique.

A dynamic class blending multiple age groups, focusing on vocal technique, stage presence, and diverse repertoire.
Placement is based on learning pace, ability, and previous experience. Students are heavily involved in selecting repertoire, giving them creative input while learning to adapt their voices to different styles.

ComboVoice

Designed for older students looking to develop solid vocal technique, improve vocal health, and expand their range to enhance their overall singing abilities. Students help select their music, encouraging individuality while strengthening their voices for long-term growth and versatility in any performance setting.
